·  Mission - in tough economic cycles it's critical to be crystal clear about your mission. Refresh your staff and volunteers on an annual basis.
·  Vision - does everyone know where you're going AND how you plan to get there? Might be time for a pop quiz...

·  Priorities - refine what you will do given limited resources. Make sure everyone can articulate your focus and hold each other accountable to stay on task.
